SGIP - Metering & Smart Energy International Interview with Sharon Allan, CEO at SGIP

Claire Volkwyn, editor of Metering & Smart Energy International speaks with Sharon Allan, president and chief executive officer of the Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP) about the organisation’s objectives for the year ahead, including its continued focus and drive forward toward the interoperability of smart grid devices. Sharon also expands on the association’s Open FNB project, which aims to promote the Energy IoT agenda, as well as its PAP25 project that looks at improving bankability of residential solar. She goes on explain the primary aims of the 2015 annual SGIP conference, and shares the organisation’s key success since her appointment as President and CEO of the SGIP.
