SMART ELECTRIC ALLIANCE ANNOUNCES FINALIZATION OF MERGER WITH SGIP
SEPA expands mission to encompass activities of SGIP Wakefield, Mass., Apr. 4, 2017 –The Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) announced today it had completed the process to merge with SGIP. The two organizations will continue under the SEPA brand and organizational umbrella. NEW SGIP CASE STUDY HIGHLIGHTS WAYS TO IMPLEMENT THE NIST CYBERSECURITY FRAMEWORK
The case study shows how some utilities have implemented the CSF Wakefield, Mass., Mar. 23, 2017 –SGIP announced today a new case study that documents an approach utilities can use to implement the Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) published by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). While many electric utility IT experts work diligently on how to best handle cyber-attacks to protect their customers and infrastructure, the SGIP NIST Cybersecurity Framework Implementation Case Study is a free resource that illustrates how some utilities have adopted and used the CSF.

CATALOG OF STANDARDS ENTRIES APPROVED BY SGIP STAKEHOLDERS
The newly added standards help advance Smart Grid interoperability Wakefield, Mass., Mar. 20, 2017 – With a ballot period ending on March 1, 2017, SGIP members voted five candidates into the SGIP Catalog of Standards (CoS).
